Obviously The Boy has dropped plenty of music since then, but no true aesthetic or themes have been set for any of it. Even if he does release a full length album, I don't get the feeling that he is going to drop in the sense of a planned out shift from one time period to the next. Maybe we just have to wait and see how it unfolds.

No, FATD started when he announced it with the book before last summer and ended with the tour. Almost a full year but it didn't feel like it since the album was in the middle and he was busy touring to promote it in the end. It felt short but it was the average length of his albums outside of Views and CLB going for almost 2 years each
