I’m kinda nervous
He’s released that Good Good song and Risk It All, but none of those are really making noise in real life (I’m sure someone will correct me and say they are some number on Billboard)
In the past we’ve had U Make Me Wanna, U Remind Me, Yeah, etc.
This go round, I haven’t really heard anything that’s gotten me excited for this album.
Thoughts?
Also hits are not a thing anymore
There will never be another Yeah, Burn, My Boo ect

This is an excuse
If he dropped a song the caliber of the songs you listed, this album would be much more anticipated.
For me at least

He tried with Glu…. It just wasn’t it unfortunately

Glu was actually nice
Someone posted in another really that if we're keeping it real, Usher's music hasn't really been hot since like 2010/2014.
I think his Vegas show (which is comprised of old songs) made people think that he's still putting out hot songs - which he isn't. And that's no diss to Usher.
It would be great if he could link back up with JD

I highly doubt that reunion would ever happen but that would be crazy

Not just JD but he needs to work again with Rico Love as well

No lol Usher, JD and BCox have been working since like 2018
I’m pretty sure they’re all over this album even if the singles from 2020 dont make it

good good is his biggest song in years

Key word - “His” biggest song. Not A big song
It just doesn’t feel like Good Good is having the same impact as his other songs

what do you expect from a man who debuted in 1994? Every artist has an expiration date and he was on his peak for 15 good years!
i have not cared about usher in almost 10 years if im being blatantly honest
Yeah. Usher's been having an identity crisis post Confessions.
He's still talented and can hold a note but he musically hasn't been any more consistent than Chris Brown in the last decade despite Chris not having his highs(97-04).
