Seems like your shame is very deeply rooted. you deserve so much better for yourself. Allow yourself to enjoy the things you like without an ounce of guilt. It’s a hobby just enjoy it ! Everyone is on different paths in their life and doing s*** differently. Four years ago I was poor ass college student and I would spend my small paychecks on s*** on Grailed while I was in a s***ty dorm lol. It probably looked backwards to ppl but whatever lol, everyone has something they spend too much money on, ours is just looking fly when we go out

I understand the feeling of spending money on ‘useless’ and relatively expensive clothes whilst not owning an apartment (or car) in a major city, but I’d rather rent an apartment here than live in a purchased home in a small town during this phase of my life. Plus, the extra money I’d save if I were not to buy clothes wouldn’t make a difference anyway, because housing is ridiculous even outside of cities.
