    I can’t get over just how beautiful the instrumentals to this performance is, it’s on a completely different level

    Even if you’ve never listened to Portishead and just skip listening, I promise you won’t be disappointed

    I’m glad. Even people who only listen strictly to hip hop can love them since they’re trip hop. All of TDE is crazy about Portishead (Q especially. His production is so influenced by them)

    Q using their Cowboys instrumental for Raymond 1969 was PERFECT

    their 3rd is different but slowly became my favourite

    Maxinquaye deserves to be mentioned amongst Mezzanine and Dummy. Hell, i find it to be more enjoyable imo
