You gotta explain what was “genius” about this
I just quoted the guy who summed up a message the film had which I found pretty cool.
I remember sitting in the theater as the movie was coming to an end and thinking, “Wow I’m loving this. Gotta be one of my favorites of the year.”
And then somehow there was still 45 more minutes of the movie left and it completely fell apart and I walked out pretty sure I would’ve given it a rotten review.
I liked the first hour of beau until the whole Forrest animated s*** happened
That whole forest sequence is what Eddington 2 is goin to be

Yea I missed that, does put it in perspective but doesn’t save the movie for me

why is Germany literally always the last country in the world to get new films (at least according to imdb)
it's probably because of our s***ty dubbing industry but jfc. hate this

November? Thats crazy. Im in Norway and the premier is today. We dont dub movies over here tho(except for kids movies)
Great interview with Aster on Office Hours
I had a feeling Aster was an On Cinema fan, just based on how cruel that show is to its characters.

with everything but big blockbusters which would drop around the same time internationally it's still normal here to get films like half a year late, and if it's just a small indie film your only original language screening might be a Sunday morning or some s***. I rly hate it
