we can't be friends is good. but the singles are really the outliers on the album huh. this ain't the dance pop album i thought it'd be

i wish i hated you, boring. but Ari sounds great. her voice sounding stronger than ever on some of these tracks, enunciation on point

The boy is mine and true story are the clear standouts for me

seems like basically no one is rocking with this. i actually didn't hate it as much as i thought it would, it was kind of a vibe at best and boring at absolute worst, mostly boring. also glad her blaccent mostly gone. i would also wager those rhinoplasties are really taking a toll on the head voice because those high notes sounded off timbre-ly and her singing style has changed. might not be related but yeah f***ing with your nose is the number 1 way to destroy your voice outside of . overall i actually wasn't underwhelmed because my expectations were in the toilet and i heard true story like two years ago but meh. just meh

ahh i kinda love ordinary things to end the album. she put Nonna on the track instead of a nice lil 4-bar bridge and another hook that would've made it perfect
