Real are usually sensible about their fees and it being a broke year for clubs in Europe is better for us. If we don't get back to CL, Kroenke will be seeing even bigger diminishing returns on his investment because of the missed cash flow. The only reason he got away with being cheap is because Wenger managed to get CL regardless for a long time. He's put in money for the first time in ages (or forever? I don't recall) to fund Partey, and if he's sensible he'll do the same this summer.
