Arteta has been subpar, but I do feel that the management is trying to create a mentally strong squad. The Ben White transfer & treatment of Saliba baffles me. Ramsdale honestly looks promising. Odegaard has been bought for a great piece. A RB, CM & ST would have to be bought to be able to put out a respectable team. With no chance to shift Auba/Laca, I do not see a striker happening this window. RB maybe if someones bites for Bellerin. Nketiah & Torreira look like they'll be gone this window. If there's any ambition left at the club, those transfers should lead to a starting CM being bought.

Thoughts on the match itself: Very disappointing, not unexpected. The side got dominated and just could not match Chelsea's intensity or quality. Pablo Mari will have nightmares for weeks.

It’s just getting worse and worse. We’re 2 games in, and this season is already over. Terrible results, terrible football, terrible coach/board. I understand he may not get a lot of service from his teammates, but when you’re our record signing at 72 million, I’m expecting a lot more.

What pisses me off the most about the Pepe transfer is that we could’ve got Ziyech instead, who offers so much more. We paid for a player with half of Ziyech’s skills/output, for double the amount of Ziyech. It genuinely hurts me seeing Ziyech do so well for Chelsea when he would’ve been a massive help for Arsenal. The fact that Chelsea paid a mere 35 million for Ziyech I’m absolutely fuming
