i was out after the 2018-19 season but yeah i can feel it with saka. it's a horrible mistake psychologically as well, because that's just telling him that he's indispensable and that he can put in a s*** performance and nothing will happen.

It's a mistake, but I think it'll be corrected. The Raphinha interest was telling, and getting Raya in with Ramsdale there making it clear not even the goalkeeper position is safe. But I guess they decided on other positions this window, with Nelson extended & Pepe still on the books.

A Pepe contract termination & Nelson being shipped off to another Premier League club for peanuts with another right winger coming in next summer seems par for the course.
