She invites a lot of them but she's most likely the Conde Nast owners' vessel for other names meaning that she's not the one holding any real power on this.

With that being said, I don't get the idea behind the point you're trying to push which is : Anna Wintour is the one inviting people. So what ? If these people really wanted to help the MET they could write a check and shut up about it but nah they gain way more from this bullshit gala than whatever sum of money they lost purchasing the ticket

Youre right they could support the met in a bunch a ways, but they want to go to the party and have their picture taken. Anna is the one who opens that door for them.

What an asinine statement, so every movie under any production house should never be credited to any director, no album should be considered created by an artist, since the whole project is funded by a label that has final say. Everyone answers to someone, someone writes Kanye’s checks.

I don't know if it's a deliberate aesthetic, but she acts like she's just going through the motions when she's trying to be sexy.

I've met people like that, both men and women, and they're usually either socially awkward or not interested in s***for it's own sake.
