i have a theory that youngboy was supposed to be on brooklyn girls with morgan wallen and then something happened in between yb was prob projected to make a lot of money by the market research and then lil durk pulled some industry strings and took the spot, rylo rodriguez and nocap thematically make country music there from alabama and then rod wave could make a collab project with luke combs modern day nelly/tim mcgraw

!https://youtu.be/wVI8bFPb9kYI don't think YB would let his label force him on a song with anyone.
but your premise is something I agree with, those artists could be big if they made country music. Rod Wave damn near already does. NoCap would be fire in that lane. but country music is a white space. you have to be a model minority to exist there and thrive. Don't think they want real street niggas at the CMA awards getting awards over Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw

!https://youtu.be/wVI8bFPb9kYIronic that some rappers try so hard to adopt the aesthetics of other genres but these guys pull off the essence of country effortlessly and naturally (and that’s why there’s some fan crossover)
Rather see them get into heavy metal or something that hasn’t been done THAT much but I feel you. Lotta these rappers are basically R&B singers who rap so their transition to country would be smooth
