James Fauntleroy for me..
He’s clearly one of the premier voices/ song writers in R&B and dude just flat out refuses to do his own s***
In a musical climate devoid of damn near anything worthwhile especially in the R&B space, why would anyone with his skill set and niche opt out entirely…
Then you get him sparingly from feature to feature and they’re usually always fire
Put out music ffs!
S***s frustrating dog..
The Weeknd for the past 6 years has just gone downhill compared to his classic works like Trilogy and Kiss Land. MDM showed he's still capable but he doesn't put that effort into a full album anymore and it's depressing to listen.

He really the Jay Electronica of R&B
Nicki. She has the talent to make a classic but she keeps trying to be trendy and chase sales
At this point Jai Paul qualifies too
Dude dropped some of the most sonically appealing tunes of the ‘10s then disappeared off planet earth..
Smfh
Dean Blunt
NOW I LIKE DEAN BUT…
I kind of wish he had a more consistent trajectory that would really push him into a semi-limelight spot
He’s so heavily revered by so many artists, but if he had a more consistent output and expanded his sound he could do pretty well for himself
Him dropping BM2 was great, but was really a flash in the pan between the last one and some so so mixtapes and side projects between
Azaelia Banks tbh
She makes really fun music, but no one wants her to drop cause of her antics
Edit: cept maybe her fans
Andre 3staks…
Man dammit
Stop acting like you’re in such a mental stalemate when every time your Grace a track you blaze it!
Donda out soon
also you really ignored me in that politics thread then replied to this

It’s called a hint
3000, Jay Elect (if he dropped that act 2 when he should’ve, it could’ve been seriously a landmark album), both Paul brothers. I feel Rocky’s career should’ve been way bigger too.
Maximizing streams with long, bouncing all over the place albums instead of having some type of musical direction
