    OP this is a crazy thought but what if I gave you 100 beats to mix and master, along with some thoughts on how I want each to sound? Would I have to pay 10K or would a brother get a deal?

    I don’t even got that many beats but maybe one day ya know

    Lol that is pretty crazy. But definitely would give you a deal. Beats are a lot easier to do than full songs

    Aah, okay. That makes sense.

    I got another question OP. Say I make an attempt to communicate how I want a track to sound by EQing each sound in the track, adjusting levels, panning, etc. to my liking before sending you the stems to mix & master the track. Is that standard and appropriate? Or, should it be the raw stems I send?

    While doing all that myself first helps communicate how I want the track to sound, I could be making your job harder. At the same time, if I send you the raw stems, how I want it to sound could get lost in translation, right? Or, is it that I send the raw stems with notes on how I want the track to sound?

    That’s a loaded question so my apologies in advance

    The music should be sent the way you like it and have it done. Raw is useful to fix any issues. But the goal is to elevate your music not change it. So it’s best to take off from where you left it
