A$ap rocky is the biggest example to me. He has not dropped an album in almost 5 years, but he has 24 million Spotify listeners. There are very few artists that can do that. It seems like he never wanted to be the biggest rapper or run the game. If he put out more music, he could have been way bigger.

Probably still a legend though, his influence is pretty significant

Just a shame his music fizzled out the way it did, I think a big part of him taking so long to drop is because he knows that most people just don’t care for him these days

I think he is in the spotlight when he pops out, just chooses to take breaks when compared to people of a similar stature who stay in the public eye. him and Frank Ocean have as much pull in the musical world as someone like Drake, Billie Eilish, Rihanna, Weeknd etc. but they don't embrace it full time
