You're severely overrating Brat or underrating Crash. I'm not sure which
This is not a good example for this thread lmao
the best thing about crash are the bonus tracks. so no
Anderson Pak:
Oxnard (although I liked it a lot) to Ventura
Schoolboy Q:
CrasH Talk to Blue Lips
Oxnard was ass to me
But Anywhere is arguably one of the best West Coast sounding songs of the past 15 years
Cheers was great, Tints was alright, Sweet Chick was nice even if it was just a Diet Girls, Girls, Girls (AP is a Jay-Z stan though so i get it)
You have to be a contrarian to say this
Surprised this is a contrarian opinion. I prefer it
This was a hilarious era
And produced a dynamite body of work

Nah the lead singles are the worst songs but the bests songs are the cuts
Pop 2 to Crash is a deeper instalment than Crash to Brat. Crash is not that bad nor critically panned to be considered ITT IMO
i guess some people would argue Weezer bounced back a few times
not me though they always been ass

Be nice

As someone who really likes the first few, they never bounced back. That’s Big Music propaganda

crash isn't a bad album. i just dont think it's better than brat. i do wish crash was a bit more daring in its artistic choices. the version of "twice" she premiered during a live stream was so much better than the song we got on crash.
I really liked Graffiti
Same here, but general audience didn't. Rihanna incident contributed to that as well.
Smooth brain trogloydytes unfortunately hated TESTING upon its release. But DON'T BE DUMB dropped and it was an instant commercial and critical success.
Other examples:
-Blueprint 2 > Black Album
-HNVM > Her Loss(HNVM is liked more now than in 2022)
I liked hnvm and would rather have that b**** nigga release hnvm 2 than iceman but going from hnvm to her loss is up there
