I can't lie man that album's brought me to tears on multiple occasions just from the sheer joy of it
Like it feels like it comes from a place of pure love, no ego involved at all, this real sincere feeling that the music was made to make people feel better, reminds me of Brian Wilson saying he wanted Pet Sounds to make people feel loved. It's something you don't often see in music and I'm so glad that The Avalanches keep doing it, genuinely love those guys, can't express how much their music means to me
You put it perfectly. Some people are in music for the fame or money, but hearing an Avalanches record makes it clear that they're just huge fans of music like the rest of us. They're soulful people with a good grasp on what connects with people emotionally. Even their most recent album, which I don't think is their best, has such a powerful emotional pull that it sells me. Every new Avalanches album is like hanging out with a good friend for the first time in aaaages.
of course. xrd sign and xrd revelator

i think Blood Sugar S***Magik is a really great album, but nothing else I've heard does anything for me
i really disliked Californication and most of the other random hits I've heard from them
maybe I should check out the album with Dave Navarro though because im a huge janes addiction fan
Im really surprised you like BSSM and hate Californication. I would’ve thought the opposite tbh

All 10s. I’m so mad because i love house music and I’ve studied and researched all the OGs but I never really gave him a listen. I’ve been binging him on and off for about 2 months now
He has a great discography. His album last year titled TAKEN AWAY was good as well.
Some other House music legends like Theo Parrish, Omar S, Boo Williams, Virgo Four and Larry Heard are also worth checking out.

Power Stone will always be my fav but JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is up there for me, unfortunately I started with the PS1 version, not the dreamcast version

Broken EP
Gave Up is the weak song and the last songs are covers, they are good but its not a creative project for that reason, they are covers

The Dreamcast version is the definitive version.
Nah, I've never read a manga before. I just received the game as a gift from a relative and it ended up being a gem lol
