The one hit wonder is a spectacle in itself but even more interesting are the artists who put out so much quality music and get a hit, that even without the hit, would likely have seen just as much success. Artists that come to mind are people like Lil Uzi, Playboi Carti, Young Thug and Chief Keef. While all scored minor hits prior to their major smashes it was undeniable that they were going to be stars even without their hit songs.
