I sorta already knew him Lloyd Banks has become one of my most played artists of all time and I only started bumping him in middle of january. He's also in my top 5 oat too now

Same with Jim Jones (though he isn't in my top 5 yet)

Clarence Clarity produced most of her album and EP along with couple pc music adjacent producers

Clarence clarity does not create max martin type music more dabbles in metal tinges (exactly why rina and him are great fit)

  • if u just made this up salute because this is creative as f***

Too much of her stuff sounds like musical costume changes: one song has a metal riff, one song sounds like the second Mariah Carey album, one song sounds like Emotion by Carly Rae Jepsen, etc.

It’s good that she is doing something, I guess, but we’ve been criticizing Drake for playing the field in his music for over five years now but she does the same thing on two projects and gets no flak?

well her EP was mainly felt like early 00s pop revival album updated with great song writing (she writes her own music)

i agree sawayama is bit over the place i think she was showing off her versatile as artists dabbling into many different genres (with again great song writing), i am thinking she will create something more focused now she has got looks she needs to really start something intersting

    rina >>> sawayama easily through

    Rina Sawayama, Crossfaith, Anti-Flag, Hacktivist

I think that's it. Most of the rap I've listened to this year has been from artists I already knew about

Drake gets flak for being successful. Doing different musical styles is just a tool to attack him. There’s nothing wrong with it.
