That's a "gotcha" because you're directing people to Christianity (which isn't monotheistic but that's another point)

as a former catholic i disagree but at the same time i really cant blame Islam for taking that postion because the trinity still confuses me

  • blame all your problems on Muslims see where it gets you

If you recognise the sexual impulses of men, why are you denying to see the validity in having women at the back during prayer and instead choosing to see it through the lense of dehumanizing women?

Because hiding women and putting them in the background are not solutions they are oppression. Women shouldnt be oppressed because some men choose to uphold a patriarchal society and follow a religion that reinforces that patriarchal environment that encouragings the constant sexualization of women. It is men's responsibility to change that, not womens responsibility to hide.

No you are ignorant to saying that you essentially think Muslim and feminist is a contradiction. You think that women that are Muslims are contradicting the religion itself which you view as misogynistic.

I have made countless arguments in this thread as to why I believe it is misogynistic and you have made ZERO as to why it is not. And by the way, i base my opinion on the religious text and practices by the way. Please.....

I am not flustered by anything. I called you a moron and have said from the very first post to you that you lack an understanding of Muslims. You have an oversimplification and no matter how much you post in this thread you dont seek to learn more.

K forget him being into minors

I see you preaching about unity a lot

But Islams/Muhammads opinionated statements on women being only worth half a man due to their intellectual deficiencies not raise a red flag? Muslim men are raised to think like this btw

    Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind."

Men are doing things like making their username @Yesdaddy on a Kanye West forum. I'm not gonna criticise Islam for recognising reality

Again when you are grasping at straws you will come to a conversation thats been had for 20+ years by someone who actually has attended each religious practice and talked with their people in good faith about concerns.

I just look at what y'all say and laugh because I have had these tough conversations in REALITY.

Yes, that's a fair point. In this thread I wasn't talking about individuals, but about the religion as a whole, based on its religious texts and practices. I have no doubt Muslims like Mamdani (just an example) exist. However, I have to push back on the idea that there multiple types of interpretations, one of the most important things in Islam is that the text never changes despite the progression of society. Christians are more relaxed when it comes to that for example. That part I dont like at all
