chinese people are very racist and like to keep to themselves but indian/pakistan/bangladesh people aren't like that and they still get the chinese treatment from whites and blacks

NYC has the highest Chinese population of any non Chinese city and it helps and hurts at times. Pre-covid things were actually pretty good but during 2020 hate crimes against Asians surpassed even Jews. The climate is already improving tho.

Hate crimes against Asians are mostly done by Black people but I'd say most of the anti Asian thoughts I hear are from other Asians. Most of them dislike the Chinese, a lot of Chinese and Korean folks inherited some disdain for Japan from their parents. I would rather someone think badly about me than actually assault me tho

Indian/paki/etc I'mma be real but nobody really looks at them and thinks they're Asian. Even tho they technically are, they were not targeted and harassed during Covid like the Asians who actually look Asian

Yeah it’s a big issue in Vancouver lol. I have family that grew up over there and they definitely have some prejudiced views towards Asians, due to wealthy Hong Kongers making housing unaffordable and treating Vancouver as their vacation homes
