I can AI master a song within 30 seconds in Logic Pro. A label could decide to save a bit of money by opting for that option, in-place of an actual mastering engineer.
well mastering a song is relatively way more logic based/left-brained activity than creating a song or a hook or a melody or even good lyrics
Also some artists already use VSTs that have one click mastering

I’m just saying replicating mastering through AI is much easier than song generation because mastering can be formulated way easier, yes it’s an artistry but not nearly as much as the music itself, so I’m not arguing for mastering/mixing not being threatened by AI, I think that is much more replaceable by AI
