Aside from some of the more popular instances such as Cuba, there is also a large ML/M movement in Brazil called the Poor Peasants League, and there are large Chrisitan/liberation theology influenced ML paramilitaries in places like Ecuador and Columbia.
Here's an interesting overview on the influence of Maoism in those regions as well

Smacked VoodooI find it crazy how at no point did I say Black revolutionaries rejected Marxism-Leninism, and have said that it has been used as a framework/stepping stone to form a branch of ML, Black Marxist ideology. Simply saying that they had their specific critiques of the traditional ML and its leaders that caused them to form a branch that made sure to acknowledge the racial disparities they felt ML did not properly cover.
And yet I'm still being lectured by these f***in nerds about Marxism-Leninism...all but proving my exact original point about how they love to talk over Black people. Or just outright put words never said in their mouths to get their own bullshit off.
