The thing about current pharrell beats is that they are slowly becoming more and more minimalistic by the song that they lose all the crazy pharrell elements that made his style characteristic…
Take a beat from him in 2017 and compare it to his latest output (besides Projects, i love that one), it’s just super dry now. You can just get that sound from Tyler instead and it might sound fresher.
