As in popularity it def did the genre good, but either i'm losing the connection w the newer gen or they just not as good in crafting albums
Maybe streaming is also the reason for that..

The Rocky from 2011 was not giving us Gunz n Butter, Changes, Purity, Brotha Man, Black Tux White Collar, Finally Free, Sundress, Smeegle, or Millionaire Problems.
Yes he still has his usual fashion, d***, and ho raps but if you genuinely believe he has not expanded his subject matter since his first two projects then you simply have not been listening to him and it's much easier to just say that.
