Current entry: Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
Assassin's Creed is an action-adventure series that combines parkour, stealth, and fluid combat mechanics. Players control Assassins in various historical periods, using advanced parkour to navigate cities, stealth to infiltrate targets, and combat to fight enemies. The overarching plot revolves around the centuries-old conflict between Assassins, who seek freedom, and the Templars, who aim for control. The series also features a modern-day storyline with the use of Animus technology to explore ancestral memories and secrets.

well well well
Is the game good?
Is the game good?
Pretty good, the story and characters are great so far, plus the combat is my favorite since the classic ac games, but the world still has some Ubisoft issues. For instance, im 40 hours in and getting kinda burnt out on the castles, every enemy camp feels the same and there’s so many, there was a similar problem in far cry 6. It’s like they build this huge unique world but then fill it with copy and paste feeling camps

This pitch/concept for an AC in 1920s NY is cool stuff
i’ve been down for a more closer to modern day ac for awhile i hope they do it one day
Still have fond memories of COVID where I went through the franchise from 2 to Odyssey

What’s your favorite
If Ubislop put this much effort into a tighter, smaller scale splinter cell game (with a fun multiplayer mode) it would print money.
@Nujabes we got new thread you can close the old one

My idea was a WW2 one set in Paris kinda like the saboteur from back in the day
Makes bullets/ guns scarce and function how they did in the games pre AC: Origins. Re focus the game on stealth and assassinations less on combat. Bring back blending in with crowds.
Easy plot set up too. Nazi’s - templars. Assassins- the resistance/ allied forces it writes itself
Could have you crossing fronts sneakily to other parts of the war effort… there’s something here idk

I loved saboteur
And yeah that would be an easy W for Ubisoft.
Unity had those WW2 era glitch missions in occupied paris, that’s the proof of concept that it would work right there

3 settings that would force me to instabuy an AC game:
WW1/2 setting
Ancient Mexico Aztec setting
Wild West setting

Wild West I never even clocked. If they kinda changed the mechanics up/ made the game more linear that s*** could be crazy
The ancient Mexico/ Aztec one would be be sick from a design standpoint. As much as I don’t favor the new gameplay. Ubisoft’s designers been breaking their foot’s off with the environments and how pretty they are

Seen lots of people talk about aztec setting recently, that idea has heat atm
Wild West setting
The cowboy dusters mixed with AC head gear etc would be so hard. Only issue would be the world designers having to come up with places to parkour around in the Wild West
