It's a very decent game too

I understand why in the context of the other games this is rated so poorly but man I had sooooo much fun playing this game it was incredible. Can’t help but think if this was a standalone game not attached to AC this would be loved a whole lot more.

People tend to f*** with Origins the most out of these new ones. I still have it wrapped in plastic. Just feel like I'm over the tedious, 50+ hours open world games

I really am and every game that took from them. Far Cry 3 the last Far Cry I played too lol. Ubisoft said f*** it this the formula then major games just copied them and they all tedious

I'm ngl HZD had a chokehold on me with that gameplay loop I maybe spent 60 hours on that game, shooting robot dinosaurs with arrows just never got old. I was max level way before I even finished the main story

But Far Cry 5 is genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played. It's insulting how little effort they bothered putting into that. The game's campaign is literally a checklist of the same tasks in 3 different regions Left a bad taste in my mouth. Linear experiences and From Soft type games are all I'm playing until I get a PS5/PS5 Pro in a few years

Far Cry 3, AC2 and Brotherhood were their peak. But Ubisoft just stopped trying. The economy in Far Cry 5 is a joke too, it's cringe how they try to get you to spend actual money in a freaking single player game
