i literally don’t understand how someone can think astro is better. can someone explain?
"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."
This quote is how I feel about Rodeo and Astroworld comparisons. It feels like Trav was trying to recapture what he did on Rodeo, which he did extremely well, but nothing will hit the same as Rodeo did in 2015. Still a great album tho

I don’t know about “recapture”. In terms of the grand scale and ambition of Rodeo perhaps, but that’s because in Travis eyes, Astro is the actual follow up to Rodeo. But Astro sound wise takes a pretty different direction from Rodeo. A bit lighter with faster BPMs. Rodeo was pretty slow and moody at times.

Definetely.
Best way to describe Rodeo is brooding otherwordly psychedelic night time in the mind of a houston rockstar
Astroworld is a summer day of nostalgia, crowds and parties full of energy and memories of rollercoasters. Astroworld is the nostalgia, innocence and fun of youth while Rodeo is the vices.
The fact we even talking about this years later lmaoo
Two classics
