well personally I used to listen to 90's west coast as a kid, then I started listening to Game, mostly 2000s. Now Im heavily listening to 2012-2017 projects I love with a few exceptions. I'm glad I did it chronically. HipHop is great as a whole and the more you know its history more enjoyable and epic it is
