I found them to be overrated, sound is boring and the headband hurts my head like after 20 minutes. Got a pair of AKG's and never looked back

At this point the akg k371 is basically the m50x killer. Better comfort, sound, and isolation, lowkey surprised people here aren't more aware of these headphones.

It also got the same portability features as M50x (Detachable cable, carrying pouch, Bluetooth option, foldable)

The only possible disadvantage is the durability

lol ppl pay 500-1000$+ for a pair of stiff brand new leather shoes/loafers that feel like butter after months of wear/breaking in

the concept of having to break something in for maximum comfort isn’t something new and doesn’t necessarily mean that product is trash/not worth the money if it requires breaking in

Yeah, but for something so horrible at 150, it don’t mean a damn thing. The fact you’re using some s***ty leather on a headphone band and equate that with a 500 dollar luxury sneaker that’s on a whole different level of craftsmanship out of Italy don’t fly.

dt770s are much comfier, i can wear em for hours without a problem. sound quality on wired headphones will always be better than wireless ones, tho the mobility of the m50x might be a pro if you plan on using them while on the go. i also like the build quality on the dt770s, hella sturdy and seems like itll last a long time. sound wise, i really fw the bass which hits hard but is not too overbearing + sound isolation. i can hear specific instruments by themselves and its crazy. i wasnt too impressed at first but they grew on me so much, makes listening to music way more enjoyable

i was also thinking bout the m50x but after doing some research, most reviews said that they were kinda mid and not worth the price. if youre primarily gonna be listening at home id go with the 770s but if youre gonna be moving around a lot maybe go with the m50x cuz bluetooth.

i have the 32ohm version btw which has a 5ft cable and can be easily powered by a phone, tho you look kinda goofy wearing the s***s in public cuz theyre so big lol

that's what I was told and now I'm feeling stupid af because I believed them and bought the m50xs first.

If you listen purely to hip-hop then the m50xs is the way to go but if you listen to any other genres and want more than bass and extra coloring then m40xs is the way to go.

don't make the same mistake as me.
