Once u get old enough to look back with the “privilege” of having a somewhat stable base/foundation to lean on during those developmental years, you realize a lot of the documented “villains” of the world (e.g. rogan, “good natured bigots”, anarchistic tech bros like thiel and musk, white doomers, etc.) are SEVERELY hurt men that have had some hole (commonly dad shaped but it can be from other factors) in their soul they never learned how to deal with head on so they rely on external copes (doomscrolling, bigotry, pyramid schemes, cults, or other severely hurt men as “father figures”) to distract them from the actual chaotic reality they live in (because what is life but chaos that is both beautiful and unpredictable?) thus robbing themselves of the opportunity to actually grow tf up into well adjusted human beings.
