Also, not to get all politically paranoid either but people are less likely to organize / unify / empathize with others when shared and common spaces are eliminated. They want everyone in their houses, never leaving, paying them money, while they continue with their fascism and monopolies.

Paramount preparing hostile takeover @op
Paramount is now considering taking an offer straight to shareholders to acquire the asset, believing its deal has a better chance of gaining U.S. regulatory approval, sources told CNBC.
can someone explain why Warner is being sold in the first place?
are they completely broke
Paramount wanted to buy Warner Bros because their owner has a s*** ton of personal wealth and Paramount is kind of a s*** studio right now. Buying WB instantly makes them the second biggest studio in Hollywood.
Warner Bros wasn’t for sale but since it’s a publicly traded company, the board has a fiduciary duty to the shareholders that requires them to consider the offer. And once one offer comes in then anybody else is open to make offers as well.

What a f***ing moron
