I wonder how long it'll be until we get to see the first announcements of the 10 year DCEU plan. Im assuming DC Fandome 2023
I feel like even getting a 10 year plan,
Deciding on a slate of films, with writers assigned -> scripts written, those films ready to go into pre production, actors cast, directors/producers assigned
That s*** alone could take a year. And it should take a year+ tbh let’s do it right

Does discovery+ have ghost hunters
Yes. Too f***ing much ghosts. Like every variant of ghost show you can have
Seems like he seriously wants DC back on top. Perfect timing too with marvel quality nosediving

Yeaaaa, s*** like this requires so much preparation.
But I'd imagine they will have all hands on deck to get DC Studios off the ground, and will probably invest a lottttt of money in to it. So things could be moving faster than we expect
Realistically though I think we might get a few movie announcements late next year, but the writing process for the films will probably take longer than usual considering WB has very little room for error for DC films.
2026 will probably be when the new DCEU really kicks off . Maybe late 2025 if we're lucky
I think they'll kick of DCEU Phase 1 with either Man of Steel 2 or a completely new Superman reboot
Yall really want another cinematic universe?
As someone who was introduced to DC via the animated universe of shows, yes
What are the Thanos level villains in DC
thanos was copied (i use the term loosely, not trying to be rude) / inspired by DC’s Darskeid. the creator of Thanos has even said so

yeah i’m thinking these upcoming films will just be stories within the greater DCEU, with the next Superman movie being a soft reboot similar to The Suicide Squad. like what happened before happened / is canon but isn’t really talked about

no super hero movies are getting old tbh
just give us good quality projects and other stuff
I understand how big that IP is but cmonnnnn

The Suicide Squad is a great example with how I think DC will handle it's universe going forward.
Keep some of the characters from the past DC films, but with new directors and different stories
Darkseid has the bendy omega eye beam which sets him above Thanos

It’ll probably be 2035+ by the time we see it in live action on the big screen
Snyder snapped with the little he used of it tho

yup and just build from there. no need to completely start from zero when we have a concurrent universe doing alright with many fans
