I mean they literally nailed it with "Home Box Office" back in the 80s or whenever it first launched. the name HBO became a brand synonymous with watching high quality shows and movies at home. Netflix, Home Box Office ... these are two perfect names that actually tell you what you're getting.

"Max" sounds like a disney re-boot of max keebler or some s***. might as well have named it "Plus".

HBO content is part of the plataform, but not all of it. It's not a HBO streaming service. It's like calling it DC Max or Cartoon Network Max.
