It's not like 'we're' the bad guys. Every country does it. Just on a different scale. But they all act in their own interests. I guess it's human nature. Just like discriminating the 'other'.

That's also how you should look at geopolitics. It's about profit and gain. The USA does it, the EU, Russia, China, Saudi, Iran etc.
And often smaller, poorer countries are the victims of those powerhouses, in the worst cases in (proxy) wars
