The alliance areb't in favour of the euthanisia plan they literally have no idea that was even on the table, otherwise they'd have buddied up with Yelena

I don’t think the alliance is but it seemed to me and maybe I interpreted it wrong, that Hange agreed when she was told to admit Zeke was right. Maybe she was really just saying that Eren had no plan and wasn’t agreeing with that part.

In the end though the whole alliance as a whole is poorly done, I feel AOT did a good job of keeping the characters human therefore making them more like able, the alliance ruined that whole aspect and I’ll end up writing a whole game paragraph if I go into why it’s so terribly done.

it's because armin heard the plan that he knew eren was pretending (because he'd never agree with euthanasia) and helped him & zeke make contact while Marley invaded. they heard it but immediately discarded it

Rewatching aot season 3.. I used to think red swan was a weak op but damn after consuming all the zekerets and knowing where the cast is heading the melancholic nostalgia of the track really hits different.

On your last point you’re not wrong. There’s a little bit of convenient and pretty uncharacteristic writing going on but I think it really hinges on the final reveal. Anime could clarify some motivations to make things more believable too.

But all in all I’m enjoying the plot points. Characters are making some decisions I’m reserving judgement on. As I’m rewatching I’m seeing so many plot points I thought were trash but in hindsight yams was a few moves ahead of me..

Might have to do a rewatch, the fragments between seasons then switching to manga could have an impact on me missing some things.

Except she didn't agree with Zeke's euthanization plan because she didn't truly believed in it. There was no other option in the moment due to what Eren began, so rolling with it in exchange for what Yelena had given is all that could be said and done. Expressing how helpless Eren is while leaving little choices does not mean she truly believes Zeke's plan was the correct way to go about things. This is apparent because of the plan they had already set out on with hopes that Eren would eventually alter his path of destruction. Even her fallen comrades confirm that her efforts had paid off and embrace her in the end. Idk how you can dislike such an amazing character.

TL;DR -- She only *understands* why Zeke would believe in a plan like that given how Eren changed, as well as taking in the cycle of violence.

Nah, all that character is was an opp and I can’t relate or sympathize for that character but then you got people here that Hate gabi for some reason lol Every character has flaws but is redeemable besides Floch because he was just an Opp and nothing else

I stopped watching this mid season 2 and i'm gonna start over again

I know the manga is ending soon but has the anime p much caught up to it? Since this is the final season and all. Cause I don't wanna watch the anime and it ends up finishing before the manga is complete and the anime has its own ending thats different from the manga cause I hate when shows do that

The anime wont have its own ending, its not caught up yet and the season will either have a part 2 or a final movie to adapt the few last chapters so you can watch it with no worries
