    Big facts

I love how somewhere around season 2 he became the lens for the audience as far as sharing the morality, anguish etc of the paradis characters

I went back to season 1 and even then he showed signs of his philosophies towards fighting. The siege in the woods with the female titan and when the wall was attacked come to mind but the way they developed it slowly over the course of the show is beautiful

i wish they wouldnt tone down some of the gore. it gets really nasty going forward but always necessarily

But AoT in my top 5 and I’d don’t wanna compare

    It’s a masterpiece

They won’t understand one piece let them sleep then hop on the train when it’s over

I'm not even saying OP is bad, OP is a legendary series for the genre it incorporates, id never argue against that bro, i just truly believe aot has transcended simply being an anime series. in the end, this will be discussed with the likes of s*** like Fargo, BB and GOT, OP will just be looked at as an insanely successful manga series

Bruh you relalize one piece transcended anime a long time ago

Bro I stopped arguing with those people a long time ago

I only ask the simple question are you caught up with it? And once they say no it’s just a lol after that

It’s wild that it took a long time for AoT to find a studio and that this season almost didn’t happen

Idk why AoT isn’t that big in Japan

Mainly because of the time crunch and the pressure of adapting such a high profile series

Yea it’s kinda crazy to think about

It’s like this is one of the greatest pieces of art in history and y’all can’t find a single studio?

    Shoutout Mappa though

Ahhhh, I’d say it’s big, but NOT as big as some others tbh, you’re right.

I know a lot of Japanese foreign exchange students irl & when we talk anime, SOME of them “meh” AoT/SNK

It's not that other studios didn't want to do it it's the timetable the directors set. They wanted the anime and the manga to end around the same time to boost sales for both.

This is hands down the most action packed season, and for a series like this studios would want to take their time (more than a year).

Look how much s*** Mappa is getting, even though they've handled it excellently with the time they were given imo

Edit: Also apparently other studios asked for more pay to do it, Mappa was the only one willing to take what they offered. They also got a seat on the board of directors which means they get more of the profits.

    .. what?

niggas think popularity = quality cuz its the only argument they can use in favor of one piss

no s*** the series that takes actual brain cells to follow is less popular than mindless hack and slash and beat em up childrens shows

for a series like AOT to even be as popular as it is, is in itself a success, when you compare it to its contemporaries, which are largely Weekly Shonen Jump morning time kids shows

It’s literally the Hobbit amongst Dr. Seuss books. My God, what a journey.

Who knew the biggest modern exposé on xenophobia, blind nationalism & time-space ties would be by a humble Japanese manga artist. This story could apply to so many conflicts in the world currently. So many wars... disputes...

I wanna thank Isayama to his face & then hug him.
