I dont really hate Armin in this arc, low key dont really care about him for some reason
Cant remember anything worthwhile mentioning in the past chapters about him but i have some bad memory so maybe thats why lol

I’m not a big anime fan but I watched this because I heard people saying this is one of the best stories of our generation, GOT level and s***.
But honestly I didn’t see why.
The pilot is amazing and it really made me feel that maybe everything that I heard about this anime was true.
SPOILERS AHEAD
But the following couple of episodes were pretty meh. However when they first battle the Titans I was truly astonished and I got hyped again. Then when Eren gets eaten and apparently dies to save Armin I ACTUALLY thought he died for good! So I was like “fuck maybe this IS actually like GOT and no character is safe.” I was so excited, specially because I wasn’t really liking that character, for me he was just the typical anime protagonist. So I thought they made him like that on purpose (he was even the best looking one) just to kill him at the beginning and let you know this wasn’t the typical anime. But no, he not only survived but he can also turn into a Titan. Everything went downhill for me after this point and I only kept watching because the battle sequences and the animation was so good. Yeah a lot of characters die and s*** but most of the time I didn’t even know who these people were lol when they find out that Marco died I was like “who the f*** was Marco and why they’re making it seem like it was such a big deal?”
The animation is one of the best I’ve seen in anime, but the story and the characters only get really good until the second half of season 3, the best part of the entire series imo.
Maybe if I rewatch it knowing what I know now I would enjoy it more?
Ok now i like it way way better.
I did not rewatch the anime, instead i decided to read the manga and I just finished chapter 90. It’s the first time i ever read a manga and i gotta say it was a much better experience than watching the anime for me.
Jun 18, 2020ThisAuburnNiggaIdk I don’t think her presence should’ve been as desired as it was for so long, but she is basically the first named villain we have in this series and she’s the vessel for showing us how Titans work (other than eren). What makes her memorable is bigger than just her, but she’s that face right? That’s how I look at it anyway

Just finished from 90 to 128 in the last couple of days. It’s sooo much to process, I don’t even know if i like where this is going or not, or if it’s making sense or not. Regardless it’s been really entertaining.

When the tension / drama was non existent with that decision to the viewer, it becomes the only reason they were saved.
