Tbh he always seemed to enjoy it, unlike the others
That moment always made me like ehh on him
Don't hate him but don't like him either
this is the hardest decision of my life
Wait until Sunday to see how long part 2 comes
If its this year I'll wait

Bet I’m hoping mappa is like y’all it’s next month
yeah the pacing is completely different compared to the manga tbh.
like i swear the panels in the manga have so much more impact when compared to the anime.
main example is like when eren is tying his hair in the mirror, or when hes yelling at hange.
Facts. The manga allows us to take our time to process things. The show is too quick with it.

The f***ing smiles when he pitched those boulders and slaugthered people. Zeke still a psycho just sympathetic now with backstory. Grisha is the bad man even him tho tragic backstory isayama needs to get hired for an RPG after this is over

I always liked Zeke but he def is a psycho or sum s***
Yikes
Look if we can hate Gabi for more petty reasons I can hate zeke as well. I've always hated him since day 1

Zeke is a psycho with daddy issues. Bro tries to act all noble n s*** but he had zero problems slaughtering islanders with a smile on his face.
iyasama really ripped the uprising arc lmfao
return to shiganshina too damn
na they different enough but the inspiration is super clear

Nothing wrong with that as long it creates a beautiful original story
I’m an older brother who loves his lil bro like a son. Unconditionally.
Maybe that’s why I resonate with Zeke so much. Dude just had a terrible hand dealt. Like, genuinely f***ed up. He loved Eren blindly just because he was his blood & “lil bro”, and let it consume him. He just wanted to protect Eren from the brainwashing of their pops
Might weep when this scene happens:
No cap. These last two episodes were especially underwhelming.
Levi x Zeke was much more intense in the manga (also, AoT has a fantastic soundtrack, but bruh, I couldve done without the corny ass rap they used during their fight)
Zeke's backstory also felt rlly rushed, but that's understandable given the anime's limitations.
Interesting and surprising to read this, specially for Zeke's episode, they dedicated a whole episode for his backstory and didnt skip a single thing so idk, to me issa top 3 o 5 ep for this season
ANIME WATCHER ONLY, can someone explain to me how Eren is brainwashed but Zeke isn’t?

Since when is eren brainwashed?

What do you mean?

If you mean how Zeke told Eren that Grisha brain washed him then it’s because Zeke, who grew up being brainwashed into thinking he had to become this and that for eldia’s future by his parents, while also being told contradictory things by every one else assumed that Grisha (who in Zeke’s eyes was an unloving father bent on restoring eldia and exacting revenge on Marley by all means) raised Eren the same way.
Zeke is just trying to make sure Eren isn’t a product of the same mistakes their father made with Zeke.
~At the end of the day Zeke barely knows Eren besides that they’re brothers and he wants to find the family bond he never had in him.~
mikasa's, it's her dream of an ideal life with eren
I wouldn’t say “ideal” cause she seemed to not want the outcome to be like that from the way she acted in her dream but more so an “alternate route” had she confessed to him on that day. There’s nothing ideal about Paradis going to war, abandoning Armin & Historia becoming a baby making machine

Tbh they’re all psychos. Everyone who gets a titan ends up having to justify killing humans, some are just more happy about it than others

yeah, you're right on that

Dont get me wrong, the episode was rlly well executed (given the time limitation)
But yeah, to me the manga was more impactful for a very simple reason: it allows you to take your time and better process things.
