Yeah there's no point crying about it since WIT basically abandoned it lol. Also mappa was good not alright. They got the tone and anime only editing set up pretty well.

I'm mainly comparing it to WIT's 3 seasons, if it was a standalone show I'd totally be saying otherwise

I made it all the way to the end of the Marley arc a couple weeks after this post. The way this shows scale escalates so perfectly and the satisfying feeling when mysteries started being explained was so cool.

The true nature of the Titans and the walls were especially well done. The character dramas and relationships got more interesting as it went on too.

I can't wait for the manga to end next month so I can binge the end of the story. This series came a long way from it's beginnings.
