On season 1 episode 7 so far. They got some rogue Titans up in here
Run
Not knowing Eren is a Titan is like not know Batman is Bruce Wayne. Got damn I been bamboozled
Thank you, Isayama.
First leaked panel out. You seen it ?
Nah I'm avoiding them until the full typeset is out
AOT fam...
It’s been real.
Manga fam, we caught up, we ready.
April 8th.
But spoilers leaking soon.
It’s okay I’m used to the pain.
I thought it was april 9th?
It's all about planning/having a clear vision.
Isayama already had a clear idea where he wanted to take the story when he first started. This is apparent because all throughout the story he has been planting seeds/clues for the things to come. That is where his genius lies. Because when everything finally connects, you realize how methodical he is.
This is in contrast to a story where the autor has no clear vision where to take it (basically making s*** up as he goes along).
Araki, has done well so far what are you about

Is that a jojo reference?
I'm not familiar with the story
But a good example is GoT, where the author has spun wayyy too many threads and is now having trouble progressing the story in a satisfying way.
final cover
Dam, even Marco made it

Yeah it's a JoJo ref. It's not that not planning ahead for a story is bad, it's more making a story unnecessarily convoluted isn't good writing. Think there's a beauty in episodic writing in something like Atlanta or Watanabe's biggest anime series, where most of the content doesn't directly drive the central narrative.

9th in japan, though pretty much the 8th everywhere else. believe NZ gets it in english the earliest?

Yeah that's true, I guess it depends on the type of story you're trying to tell

Map of AOT world:
Flipped :
yeah paradis is supposed to be madagascar
Like the nazis had the idea first to ship all jews into madagascar before killing them
the series becomes so much more fun if you got some knowledge in actual history.
you can clearly see the influence

Are you f***ing serious??? Is that in real life the nazis tried doing that?

The eldians fighting for Marley can also serve as a parallel for how the US military used minorites in combat during WWII (treating their own as second class citizens)

yeah it was caled the Madagaskar Plan
Zeke Jäger = Sieg Jäger
also His mercy death plan = euthanasia aka holocaust
Erwin Smith was also based on high Nazi general Erwin Rommel
Nazi influence strong

This is not at all to say Isayama supports fascism btw - it’s his artistic representation of what occurred in our past.
