there are some sketchy people who love this series, to put it mildly. From a story telling perspective, it doesn't really bring any sort of resolution to any of the themes as well

It’s not written by isayama so it’s non canon unless he said it was and I didn’t know, and hitch / Marlowe were introduced in female titan arc. It doesn’t really conflict with any canon though I don’t think so u could imagine it being canon, which is what a lot of people do with the Levi no regrets prequel

agree with paths being detrimental to the storytelling in the long run. isayama's utilization of it from ch122 moving forward only resulted in short cuts and lazier writing for eren's character and pieces of the plot coming together imo.
