Maccaveli101Buddy, the Demon Slayer movie did $503 million USD on a budget of $15.8 million USD. And that’s just cinema. That doesn’t include streaming, home media (which is still a big thing in Asia) and merchandise. Hell, the Blu-Ray and DVD sold over 800,000 units in its first day and over 1 million units in three days in Japan.
Attack on Titan is the only anime with a fan base on the level of Demon Slayer. There’s a reason Crunchyroll crashed both on the Season 4 premiere and today.
MAPPA and Isayama will want their piece of the cinema pie as well.
And I don’t blame them.

Ending was perfectly fine as it was from a literary standpoint.
A bit rushed but I’m sure MAPPA are gonna let it breathe more.

Reasonable but anime only are definitely going to moan and groan at the ending/ not get it or translate as well to screen just based on what I know
