There’s some aesthetic liberties taken in the anime that’s preventing me from reading this thread though. I love what the anime did with gabi’s redemption to this point

Actually, now that i think about it maybe wasnt even her, we think this because the other slaves point at her but its established she's a slave who gets everything they throw at her without complaining so she could've just sticked with it, which would make it even worse

I wish I did tbh. I really think this saga has been conveyed way better through anime. Like some issues I had with Mikasa and Armin are a lot smoother in this format

Ive heard different opinions on which of the 2 versions manga readers preferred, which is pretty dope imo, since i will read the manga after i finish the series so if its as good generally then it will be another ride

Finally, finally caught back up after my pre-pt.2 full series rewatch just watched the new ep. Fire.

Ymir died because as its been established in episode 6 i think of final season part 1 in order to regenerate you need the will to live, in fact reiner at that point had none so he wasnt regenerating, ymir must have felt the same way considering her s***ty ass life, so that's the reason she died. Mikasa isnt deaf, the rumbling is just too loud for mikasa to hear anything

I still don't get why Eren had to go that hard at Armin and Mikasa the last time the three of them were alone together. I haven't read the manga but I'm assuming he'll never spend time with them in human form again. I don't get what the benefit of being such a prick to them was

Not a manga reader so im just giving my opinions based on what i've watched, but my interpretation was to keep them away from him so they wouldnt die, and i think he feels this way because of what happened to sasha. He knows she died because paradis had to follow eren's selfish plan on marley so he doesnt want it to happen to his two closest friends. He wants to save them too

MAN I CAN'T Eren bruh all this hype and to see manga niggas downplay the ending really makes me anxious about when the turning point is because ITS JUST STRAIGHT FIRE EVERY EP SO FAR

The ending at this point could be 23 minutes of eren taking a s*** and it wouldnt change my opinion on this series. Its not like all the events til now havent happened and no matter the quality of the ending its not erasing these 80 episodes. Manga readers dont post snarky replies to this, i dont want even a hint of the ending
