I’m about to watch this s*** again Bruh. I don’t know if it was the weed or what but I was literally shaking last night
like at one point I thought my head was legit gonna explode
No??? I haven't made a single post in this thread since it came out, which is the same thing I did for S4 P1? And dude why tell me thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt???
OMG EREN IS A TITAN?!!?!??!!!
Did i miss Light becoming a shinigami or what lol
It’s in a canonical OVA called “Death Note: Relight”, basically a recap plus extra story after the manga.
A shinigami goes up to Ryuk, sporting Light’s likeness & worldly accessories, says nothing & and tosses him an apple (you obviously know who it is, they just never confirmed it for suspense). Ryuk then begins to recap to Light the whole DN story (for our viewing basically).

At the end, Ryuk gives Light his own Death Note (that was used to kill Light) & tells him go drop it & have fun on earth, saying “If somebody picks it up, you’ll have fun… isn’t that right… Light?”

they were slow playing it so much with the last few eps of part 1, I figured we wouldn’t actually get to the battle
I thought S4 P1 was cool. You can only do what your source material allows but it felt more engaging than I remember S3 P1 being. The way they did it also allowed for what y’all been experiencing, which is the peak of the franchise to be the intro to P2.
Idk if that raises the bar too highly for what is to come after the climax (which should’ve been either this past episode or this upcoming one), but I thought it was a beautiful job of scheduling by Aniplus
ngl they shouldve revived Erwin instead of Armin
Idk if you’ve read the manga or not but…it becomes understandable

i have not.
i have not.
Word, l think you’ll be satisfied enough when the time comes then
Also interesting how the Founding titan power is kinda like the Shinigami Ryuk-Light curse:
The centipede attached to Ymir in the tree, switched its host to Eren, Eren is buried at the tree, and goes without saying, forces Eren to become the centipede in the tree for the next host to come along. Similar to how Light becomes a Shinigami at the end of DN.
So you subscribe to the cycle theory
I read about it like a month ago, I’m not sure how much I believe in it but it’s definitely a window that was left open intentionally. I wouldn’t be shocked if the anime doubles down on it
1) Do we know when S4 P2 is going to end, because I'm going to run it all at once. I looked it up and couldn't find it.
2) I just saw a spoiler image of Erens head flying off , can someone please tell me a lie like that that was a shopped image or some sort of illusion or something. I don't want to believe it was real.
Bro just accept it and don't look online anymore for the next 7 weeks

they shouldve they got rid of one of the few good characters on here & did a whole 180 on armins character

he died in the perfect way tbh
Isayama really did a god awful job of writing Armin as this super persuader
like the effect obv gets conveyed because its his story, but the lines are consistently so damn naive
I’m the only one that thinks that Ymir backstory was rushed? This s*** was underdeveloped as f***
Really hope they expand the story later because this s*** wasn’t told well at all

Exactly this mentioned Eren's head falling, how was I supposed to know he wasn't talking about the manga

In fairness they cut corners in part 1 of season 3, was better in the manga.

I dont think armin was ever intended to be this super persuader character tbh

What was rushed for you?
Are there any other special traits of the other nine Titans that have been confirmed like the Attack's future memories?
How did Frieda not know about that?
Eren mentioned Zeke giving him access/contact with Grisha's memories which allowed him to influence him - was this possible because of the infinite/but all at the same time quality of paths?
If you start thinking about it, most of the rules of the titan powers are not innate rules that come with the power but its ymir applying those. The 13 years are because she died after 13 years of having the titan so that's what she thinks should be the lifespan of a warrior, the founding titan s*** has nothing to do with royal blood, she only obeys the royal family as they're descendants of the 1st king fritz so she treats them the same as that king. Crazy that our characters spent years trying to figure out this s*** only for it to be a product of a kids mind

This s*** meta as hell. (Considering hella people in the world are functioning from child trauma that they're still unaware of)

I dont think there will be any other hidden titan powers, but you can never tell with this story.
Frieda doesnt know about the attack titan power because this titan has always been rogue, as eren kruger says in season 3 part 2, it was never in possession of either marley or eldia, so only the people possessing this titan knew of its power.
It was precisely that, to access the coordinate you need to activate the founding titan, so eren needed zeke, and inside the coordinate you could access the memory of every eldian, but this still needs the power of the founding, which zeke used by touching eren
