Erwin would've chose another route, there's nothing in the series indicating he would've gone totally along with eren's plan. Tbh if he was alive the story would've went a totally different way

They were just talking this episode, only "action" was jean beating up reiner, wasnt needed. If there was any episode they could've saved on this episode was the right call, and the direction more than balanced the lack of animation

What they knew up to that point was that humanity's last people were all inside the walls and the enemy were monsters (they knew they were originally humans but they knew literally nothing else), considering erwin's character if the enemy was humanity idk if he would've kept following that plan. Also, you could consider that to have been the goal of all the other characters too before finding out the truth, yet now their goal isnt wiping out all life outside the walls, so a change in perspective would've effected erwin too. In s3 or s3p2 dont remember atm levi asks erwin what he would've done after finding out the truth and erwin said he didnt know, so even then he needeed the truth to figure out what to do next. Its not like he loved sending people out to die using propaganda and selfish goals, if he did he wouldnt have let levi choose his fate, he chose to give humanity a chance

If it at least had final season part 2 cgi it would've been as good as the trailer fights, but alas covid and s***ty schedule didnt help, and anyway the end product was still crazy good considering the unfortunate context

Armin really cant bring himself to kill people, especially those close to him, how tf is he gonna even try and kill eren??? He's been so quiet and depressed too s***, those bertholdt lines hit hard cause they're true and appliable to that very moment
