He's clearly aware of how divisive the ending of the story was, so it's only natural for him to feel that he let some fans down.

But in any case, any kind of hate directed at him is reprehensible. Some people really have no concept of how privileged they are.

Like anyone else, there have been times when some artists I like have not matched my expectations, but it never crossed my mind to harass them directly. That kind of behavior is beyond childish.

i really love the ending for what its worth, a little dialogue fixes wouldve made it better but after been apart of this journey for a decade+ i got no complaints it was beautiful

Eren beating the Titan crap out of Reiner and then telling him see you later is still such a cold scene

The manga version will be infamous moreso than well received, if remembered
