Use mid side EQ to enhance the stereo image of your mixes

When I mix in Logic, the vocal comes sounds on par with the beat, but when I bounce it out, the beat sounds weaker, drums etc.

Its good but can also cause phase issues so you have to be careful with it. Good to use on low end with taking out side and boosting mono in the high mids to help vocals shine through the mix

Make sure you watch your export settings and make sure its high quality
Keep it at 48, 512, and 24bits and you should be good
Know your headphones better than yourself

Listen to as much music as you can on wherever you make music whether its headphones or studio monitors because that’s going to directly reflect how your mixes turn out

What phase issues? You do have to be careful with widening low end, I'd avoid it entirely
It's a nice touch on the high end of tracks like vocals to spread it out a bit
I highly recommend initially mixing your in monitors/speakers, then headphones after you've sorted out your panning and stereo imaging. The stereo image on headphones aren't accurate and you can end up with nasty phase issues Jean touched on above
I've heard that if your mix sounds good in mono it will sound good in stereo
Also mixing on studio monitors >>>>>headphones

With widening stuff in your mix
All i know from experience is that mastering is really tricky to get to a finished product level
Theres a reason Kanye pays Mike Dean to do all that stuff

Flicking between mono and stereo as your mixing helps prevent that

Gamechanger, really helps things open up
Always side chain your reverb
Why ?
And where would the sidechain come from ? The drums ?

You side chain your reverb to your vocals through a compression. That way it sits under the vocals while the vocals come through then shoot out when there’s silence. Makes your mix sound much cleaner. Would recommend doing this with delay as well.

There’s never an always too anything there’s no right or wrong in music its just what you think fits best to what your making. But it is an amazing tip
