More than 180 alleged arsonists have been arrested since the start of the bushfire season, with 29 blazes deliberately lit in the Shoalhaven region of southeast NSW in just three months.

it's not as simple as the climate changing = fire it's that the changing climate creates conditions for these fires to be much worse than they could be previously

again we have arsonists yearly in Australia causing bushfires but they haven't been at this scale before in the history of Australia because of our Liberal government's horrid climate policies

I've seen a few things in the past year which have made me skeptical that ecologists are being honest about global warming, especially when they have something to gain from such information.

Of course, anyone questioning the narrative must hate it and, according to you, swallowing the messaging we get from the elite instead of doing our own due diligence is wise. Unfortunately for me, I have reason to distrust those in power in society, and now require empirical evidence for anything they say.

we have arsonists pretty much every year, that hasn’t changed
however the fires haven’t been this extreme before due to the effects of climate change
we’ve also had gov cuts to our volunteer firefighters which is not helping and is disgusting tbh
