interstellar was good yes, but i feel like you can watch it at home in HD and not miss out on much. in fact i’d argue inception was the one nolan film to watch in theaters

But I’m one of the only ones that I know that didn’t have a problem with the other movies plot

Well I said I had no interest in seeing it and it still got y'all foaming at the mouth. When I ask what it is that makes people enamored with this movie it's the usual "It looks cool! I saw it in IMAX!"

To pick up on “what makes people think it’s good/enamored” I will say the family story at the core of the film got me a lip emotional and my brother was crying at the end of the film.
But I mean you know if it makes us morons for feeling some emotion fro. the movie then whatever lol

Do people discuss the characters and story of top gun 2? Personally I haven’t heard anybody discuss it since release, but it’s not a problem for that film right? Simple stories aren’t getting extensive online discourse like that
Those marvel films only do because they’re littered with Easter eggs, cameos and teases

Like I said before, Jurassic Park dropped in 93 and people still rave about not just its visuals/SFX but also characters and story moments. That s*** is 30 years old this year and you gonna see more people talking about that still than they ever have about Avatar.
S***, James Cameron has a ton of other films people still rave about to this day and a lot of them s***s are 25+ years old.
