December 2026 is basically 2026

I think he always seemed to signal 4 and 5 as movies he may push off to other filmmakers

He might do it now because of these delays

I’ve been thru too many delays with this damn franchise man
Giving so many false dates to your fans is wack idc. Just don’t announce the date if y’all can’t make it. A handful of months delay is one thing but an entire year is gives me the impression y’all was just lying with the the original 2024 date to your fans.

Really getting to an age where my excitement for these distant movie release dates is usurped by the latent fear of time going by, years adding up, anxious foreign ideas of what life will look like by the time these films come around etc

i remember when i was a kid in like 2011 looking at 2012 movies and having my mind blown wondering what things will be like in a year

now studios just announce movies a decade in advance and you gotta hear every bts detail

I remember in 2014 marvel announced avengers 3/4 for 2019 and I was like “damn I’ll be graduated from college by then that’s so far away”

That was only 5 years these mfs said f*** it announce it 9 years in advance

phase 3 announcement was a peak mcu moment

i was just barely getting into it at that time waiting for AOU and seeing Infinity War Part 1 and 2 had me like

I mean a lot of movies getting push back

The 2 new Avengers movies got pushed back a year as well

Probably writers strike

Worst part about them delaying it to 2029 and 2031 is you already know it’s probably getting delayed again to 2032 and 2034
